“Take heed, keep on the alert; for you do not know when the appointed time will come. It is like a man away on a journey, who upon leaving his house and putting his slaves in charge, assigning to each one his task, also commanded the doorkeeper to stay on the alert. Therefore, be on the alert—for you do not know when the master of the house is coming, whether in the evening, at midnight, or when the rooster crows, or in the morning— in case he should come suddenly and find you asleep. What I say to you I say to all, ‘Be on the alert!’ ”
Mark 13:33-37.
"Blessed is a man who perseveres under trial; for once he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him." James 1:12.
"When you hear of wars and rumors of wars, do not be frightened; those things must take place; but that is not yet the end. For nation will rise up against nation, and kingdom against kingdom; there will be earthquakes in various places; there will also be famines. These things are merely the beginning of birth pangs." Mark 13:7-8.
"You will be hearing of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not frightened, for those things must take place, but that is not yet the end. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and in various places there will be famines and earthquakes. But all these things are merely the beginning of birth pangs." Matthew 24:6-8.
My Dear Reader...there comes a time in every book where there's a climax that inevitably leads towards the end of it. History is a book. After the completion of all things written in the Bible, that book will close and eternity will be all that will be known by all.
Eternity in torment and pain for having rejected Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior or in indescribable joy and peace in the presence of Jesus Christ the King of Kings and Lord of Lords...the Savior of all who who had come to Him.
There's a climax coming. Oh these last 2,000 plus years have had some amazing, interesting, exciting, scary, intimidating things happen in them. But nothing really has anyone prepared for the return of Jesus Christ.
There's a chance that the surge in my blogs viewership has decreased or been cut off yet again in certain corners of the world. Should I panic or be concerned? No to both questions. I am not in charge of distribution...the Spirit takes it where it can go and by what means it needs to go.
My prayer has never changed concerning it. My prayers about it have to only do with either leading people towards Jesus to find His free gift of salvation or to show them the way back to a right relationship with Jesus.
The end of many things will happen after the Church of Jesus Christ is taken home.
People only have had the barest of tastes of a life controlled by others in recent years.
Jesus said that He stands at the door and knocks. His love and caring for Humanity is so great that it was the Father’s good purpose to enlist all who do believe to help others to find Jesus as well.
While indeed the Scriptures say that Jesus has set eternity in the hearts of mankind...time itself is running out. Biblically speaking, do the math, there's 1,007 years specific to the last years of humanity with regards to the dealing with sinful man and woman. The only variable is that time between this very second and when Jesus returns to gather His Church to forever be with Him.
Satan's schemes include and are heavily involved in you being too busy to notice. Too worried to stop and realize you've been had.
To get people to caught up in anything and everything to realize there's someone knocking at the door.
My father in the Faith's newsletter that just came out concerning Biblical Prophecy opens up with his excitement about the very near future.
My heart has felt what he describes! I know that my Savior and Lord is coming soon. I have written of this long ago, but I do believe the accompanying earthquake to the Rapture of the Church is the result of the resounding shout of joy from Heaven at knowing why Jesus was standing up.
When Jesus was born we read of the windows of Heaven being opened and the angels of God were rejoicing greatly and could be heard by those witnesses.
For those of you who are saved...be sure to be about the Father’s business that the Spirit has for you to be doing! This is far more important than we can imagine. Our parts add up to the whole of the work of the Spirit in our world today.
Never underestimate your part!
For many today, the panic of world events has them crying out to God but they keep dismissing His answers to their prayers!
They are putting their possessions, their status, their efforts, their pride, before whatever it is that God's providing for them!
I have shared a story before that's had several variations over the years.
A woman is going about her life as usual when some heavy storms come upon her. She prayed to God to help her. The waters are rising. Her vehicle wasn't going to get her to safety. A truck comes by with an offer to get her out. She tells them no, God's going to save her. The waters keep rising and she continues to cry out for God to save her. Someone in a boat comes by with the same offer to save her. She tells them no, God's going to save her. She's now on the roof of her house. She keeps crying out to God to save her! A helicopter sees her and throws down a rope ladder. She shouts to them that God will save her!
She dies. She stands before God and cries out "I prayed and prayed! You didn't save me!"
God says, "I sent you a truck, a boat and a helicopter, what more did you need?"
We have to have the mindset of the Spirit of God to make it through this life. We cannot put possessions or prestige or worldly desires ahead of that. None of those things leave this world with us.
There's no hierarchy in Hell let alone in Heaven for mankind. Nobody took anything with them to either place except for people. The saved join the saved in Heaven. The unsaved join the unsaved in Hell.
You choose which becomes your eternity. You do. Not Jesus, you.
He provided the free gift but will not make you take it. The choice must come from your heart.
So what if all you leave this world with is you. That you have no possessions or prestige. Guess what? Nobody else did either.
You brought nothing into this world and you take nothing with you. The decision to come to Christ is on you. The consequences are final after you breathe your last.
I am excited that Jesus, through His Spirit, is doing what He's doing with my blog. I am to keep writing, keep working, until He either calls me home or the Rapture of His Church.
My Jesus is coming soon. The loving embrace that I have longed to have with My Savior is coming soon. Mercy Me wrote "I Can Only Imagine". I can only imagine myself running to Jesus when that day comes. What about you?
Are you ready for this day to come?
Are your priorities in order?
Do you know that you are saved?
Do not let anyone or anything keep you from deciding to come to Christ for salvation. Do not let family, friends, or governments keep you from the love of God in Christ Jesus. All governments will fall before Jesus.
Jesus is waiting for that moment set by His Father to come to receive His own to Himself.
Will you be going with Him when He comes? Wars and rumors of wars will be a kindergarten brawl compared to the disasters that await those left behind. Supply chains will crumble beyond any disruptions you have ever seen in the news. Ideologies will be cast aside to try to cause all to rely on a new world leader. A future where billions will die from the judgments of God awaits those who are left behind.
Jesus has been knocking...trying to save you...are you listening?
Your troubles, your woes, are only trying to keep you from settling that question.
My Dear Reader, do not put it off any longer. Don't be that one who cried out to God yet cast aside every attempt He made to save you.
He is coming soon...
