But realize this, that in the last days difficult times will come. For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, slanderers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy, unloving, irreconcilable, malicious gossips, without self-control, brutal, haters of good, treacherous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, holding to a form of godliness although they have denied its power; avoid such people as these. For among them are those who slip into households and captivate weak women weighed down with sins, led on by various impulses, always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. 2 Timothy 3:1-7 NASB
Do these attributes describe you? Be careful! It isn't anyone else you would be lying to but God and yourself.
Is your life, your career, your entertainment, your anything more important than the truth about your present and your future?
Do you think more highly of yourself than you ought to?
Are you confident in your own life to the point that you have no use for salvation in Christ Jesus?
Does the morality of God's Word offend you?
Do you embrace evil rather than oppose it?
Is your life best described as self-centered?
If you aren't at all concerned about any of these questions or just got angry because of reading them because you just don't care, my Friend you have a significant problem. Ignorance is not bliss.
