Abide in Me, and I in you.
Lord Jesus, I have been crucified with You, it is no longer I who live, but You live in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in You, Son of God, who loved me and gave Yourself for me. For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh) nothing good dwells; for to will is present with me, but how to perform what is good I do not find. O wretched man that I am! Who will deliver me from this body of death? I thank God through You, Jesus Christ my Lord! If You, Christ, are in me, my body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. So I continue in the faith, grounded and steadfast, and am not moved away from the hope of the gospel which I heard. As if a little child, I abide in You, that when You appear, I may have confidence and not be ashamed before You at Your coming. I who say I abide in You ought also to walk just as You walked. As I abide in You, Lord Jesus, and You in me, may my life reflect more clearly Your love and Your likeness.
