The King is Coming

"Behold, He is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see Him, even those who pierced Him; and all the tribes of the earth will mourn over Him. So it is to be. Amen."

“I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.”

And He placed His right hand on me, saying, “Do not be afraid; I am the first and the last, and the living One; and I was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore, and I have the keys of death and of Hades."

I don't know about you, but the yearning for this to come to pass is so great.  If you look at the Gospels of what has been called "The Triumphal Entry", people lined the streets with palm branches and anything they could find to line the road as Jesus came to the city.

They had time to see who it was and to prepare for His arrival. 

They were dancing in the streets, shouts of jubilation! 

Matthew 21:1-11 NASB "When they had approached Jerusalem and had come to Bethphage, at the Mount of Olives, then Jesus sent two disciples, saying to them, “Go into the village opposite you, and immediately you will find a donkey tied there and a colt with her; untie them and bring them to Me. If anyone says anything to you, you shall say, ‘The Lord has need of them,’ and immediately he will send them.” This took place to fulfill what was spoken through the prophet:

“Say to the daughter of Zion,
‘Behold your King is coming to you,
Gentle, and mounted on a donkey,
Even on a colt, the foal of a beast of burden.’”

   The disciples went and did just as Jesus had instructed them, and brought the donkey and the colt, and laid their coats on them; and He sat on the coats. Most of the crowd spread their coats in the road, and others were cutting branches from the trees and spreading them in the road. The crowds going ahead of Him, and those who followed, were shouting,

“Hosanna to the Son of David;
Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord;
Hosanna in the highest!”

When He had entered Jerusalem, all the city was stirred, saying, “Who is this?” And the crowds were saying, “This is the prophet Jesus, from Nazareth in Galilee.”

Yet, many have yet to believe that He is. Or that He is returning.  Dear Reader, as you have read so it shall be and must be. The clouds will part and this whole world will see Jesus return. 

Before that particular moment, the Church of Jesus Christ will be taken from here. We won't be here. You see that scene mentioned above is after 7 years of judgement on this Earth.  Hell will have come to the physical world.  Billions will have died. People will have been forced to worship the Antichrist or die. That day is coming soon.  Those events WILL take place.  

To this day many in Israel are expecting a Triumphal entry moment where God just saves Israel. Many of those just don't really believe the God of the Bible.  It's been repeated throughout history.  Israel comes close then falls away to God. 

But that's not the whole story. History. His Story. The Bible is the love letter of God to Man.  To you. 

It spells out everything. Where sin came from, why it's so bad. Why it's impossible to get rid of without coming to Christ to be cleansed by His blood.  Of what He, Jesus, went through just to make sure YOU wouldn't perish but have everlasting life. 

Oh my dear reader, life is 100% unpredictable.  You have no promises of even the next 10 minutes of your life.  The very breath you get is a gift from God to allow you time to repent and turn to Jesus to be saved.  

I leave a message on the desktops of computers.  It's titled "When Millions Vanish". People will be searching for answers when Christ returns for His Church.  Billions will be left behind because of all sorts of humanly reasons.  The only important one was they didn't take Jesus seriously. 

Jesus doesn't wish anyone to die and be separated from Him!  But, and don't miss this, but, the choice is not in His hands! 

It's in your hands. 

You must choose.  

And you have to be serious.  Because Salvation is not a 'Get out of Hell free card".

It's a life spent turning away from sin and to a life spent with a living Savior.  A life changed through a right relationship with Jesus. 

You are not to come to Christ then live as you want.  It doesn't work that way. 

So please my dear reader.  I know many hundreds of Pastors who strongly suggest reading the book of John.  But I also recommend the book of Revelation.  Reality is this world isn't going through global warming.  It's being prepared for the return of Christ and the judgments to come. 

I can see more and more connections between today's world and what the world is like in Revelation.  Time is short to live for Jesus who loved you enough to take your punishment away.  Forget what you think you are going to lose.  This world is going to be destroyed.  Nothing is going to be left of it that you will ever want after the judgment begins.
