Was bothered by the vast variety of sexual sins in the world today, and yet, as abhorrent as they are, it will get worse still. On top of that, people will still refuse to give up on what they believe is their right to do such things.
"The rest of mankind, who were not killed by these plagues, did not repent of the works of their hands, so as not to worship demons, and the idols of gold and of silver and of brass and of stone and of wood, which can neither see nor hear nor walk; and they did not repent of their murders nor of their sorceries nor of their immorality nor of their thefts. - Revelation 9:20-21
Scripture says that evil men will proceed from bad to worse. 2 Timothy 3:13-14 "But evil men and impostors will proceed from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived. You, however, continue in the things you have learned and become convinced of, knowing from whom you have learned them,"
Every generation has an idea of what is seen as bad. God's idea of it is more than we can grasp.
This world is not going to get better.
Until Christ reigns for a thousand years immediately following the Tribulation, this world is going to get a whole lot worse.
There is no global warming. There's a global preparation happening. As Jesus said, birth pangs will be happening. All in preparation for His return.
Earthquakes, famines in various places.
Wars and rumors of wars.
A man's enemies will be members of his own household.
Technology may advance but sin remains sin. My personal belief is technology wise mankind was farther along before the flood than we are today. Before the flood mankind was far more intelligent than after the flood. Intelligent but still sin cursed. They used far more of their brains than we can. Since the flood mankind has had to deal with radiation from the sun having an impact on our DNA.
Items have been found by archaeologists that we CAN identify, yet cannot understand how they were created or used. Pre-flood items.
Ecclesiastes says there's nothing new under the sun. I really believe that includes technology.
But getting back to what started this post. Sexual sins are just that sin. It IS repentable. People CAN turn from it.
It CAN be forgiven by God. The person it affects needs to come to Christ first, then ask for His forgiveness and healing.
Nobody's in a place that's too far gone that God can't heal, forgive and restore.
Look at the kinds of people who Jesus rescued! Humanity had written them off.
Living naked among the dead, forsaken by everyone. Jesus came, and set free the captive. Healed and restored.
Someone out there must be needing to hear this. The Spiritual warfare that I have been going through usually points to me sharing something that Satan has a problem with.
Freedom is available in Christ!
Turning from that sin, believe it or not, is NOT the first step!
No where in Scripture will you find it said to clean up your life then come to Christ.
Nowhere.
Absolutely
Nowhere.
Jesus does the healing after we give our lives to Him.
Jesus does the forgiving.
Jesus already has your victory waiting.
Jesus is ready to wipe the slate clean.
To remember your sins no more.
Scripture says for those who have put their faith and trust in Jesus Christ alone for Salvation, He casts their sins away as far as the east is from the west and remembers them no more.
Don't try to be good enough. You won't.
Don't try to live with your sin. You can't.
Don't listen to the lies of Satan, saying you have to live this way. Because you DON'T.
Don't listen to the lies of Satan that you were born in the wrong body. God does NOT make mistakes. Satan is twisting the truth of who you are.
God DOES say that nobody who practices sin will inherit the Kingdom of God. That is to intentionally, knowingly, sin every day. To do something on purpose, knowing that it's wrong. A lifestyle of homosexuality is an intentional sin.
A lifestyle of being bisexual is an intentional sin. A lifestyle of anything apart from how God designed a man and woman to be is an intentional sin.
The good news is if you are reading this, forgiveness and his healing are possible.
They are still available.
God loves you. Yes, you. Just the way He created you to be. Come to Him as you are and ask Him to come into your life to be your Savior. Ask Him. You won't regret it. The prison you see yourself in will go away. Jesus will come to you and He will keep all His promises to you too.
Time is the only big enemy we all face. The Father appointed a time soon to come, for Jesus to get up from His Throne in Heaven and to come take home all who have named the name of Jesus as their Lord and Savior.
As evil increases the time grows shorter. Evil was rampant in Noah's day.
Evil is growing to be just as bad now for the world in which we live.
Oh sinner come home.
Come home tonight to Jesus.
He's at the door of your heart, waiting for you to open it. You see, there is no knob on His side of that door.
You have to let Him in.
You.
