Why are we here and what's our purpose?
"For the love of Christ controls us, having concluded this, that one died for all, therefore all died;and He died for all, so that they who live might no longer live for themselves, but for Him who died and rose again on their behalf." 2 Corinthians 5:14-15
We who are in Christ aren't to live for ourselves. I admit there's way too many times when this isn't what I have been doing. But it seems like the more I let go of the things of this world and focus on what God's put before me the more freedom that I have. We all like to see happy people. When we are nearest to those who are happy in Jesus we can't help but want to share in their joy. Life is too short and as I have mentioned a few times about God's enemy, he loves to fill our time with things that drag us down or try to steal our joy.
In Christ I have found more joy than I think I can handle at times. But it's only been when I have been obedient and where I am supposed to be. Could even be at work, the right music going and all I really want to do is raise my hands in worship.
